Reviews
Relatively intimate venue for live music. Great if you can get to a center position. If it's packed, some views are obstructed from the side. But it's always close enough to feel like you're in the action and catch the vibe of the performer.
My experience was INCREDIBLE. I went to see Meduza's show and I was surprised by the quality of the place especially the quality of the sound. The acoustics were without a doubt one of the best experiences. The show with all the lights, the acoustics, and one of my favorite DJs closed my year with a flourish. If there is another show in the future, I'll be there.
Good place, was there for a concert so the crowd was as per it. All in all an ok venue.
Very helpful staff but not very accessible at all. There was a raised area when wheelchair users could safely be but I couldn't see ANYTHING the entire show. Some kind strangers told me what was happening on stage and took some photos to show me what I was missing, which was nice. Sounded amazing but unfortunetly, cohldn't see anything
Has taken me a couple of weeks to get the courage to write this review. I went to Melbourne to see the KARD concert.
I am an autistic women who is easily overwhelmed by people and by sensory overloads. I made sure to wear my sunflower lanyard (that means i have a hidden disability), with a card on the lanyard clearly stating I was autistic.
I was in the line waiting to head into the venue when the security guard asked to check my bag. He looked in it and then said "throw it in the trash" in the rudest tone I've ever heard. That was overwhelming in itself. Since I struggle with communication, and there was no clear instruction of what to throw out, I replied asking what he wanted thrown out. He then violated my privacy by reaching his hands INTO MY BAG to grab out an empty soft drink bottle and then literally THREW it to the trash behind him. I then spent the first half an hour of the concert in tears, trying to calm myself down from the overwhelming situation that just occured.
I am returning to this venue in December for another concert, and I hope this man is fired by then.
Last night attended to the concert of leisure at the venue. Thanks to the security guards that pushed me out of the street I fell so hard on my knee and ended up at the Hospital. This is a serious aggression so please need to know the name of the company that worked last night for security… today I can’t walk without crutches… what it was beautiful concert ended up in emergency until 4 am at St Vincent hospital.. please if you can also provide security cameras for further investigation will be great. That’s what police has advised. Can you please get in contact with me.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
